Reckong Peo

Reckong Peo, is also spelled Rekong Peo and simply known as Peo by the local inhabitants, is headquarters of Kinnaur district. It's very beautiful place located in between big hills and snow valleys with blessing of Shivling Mountains. The People of Village Barang, Kalpa, Sangla, Pangi, Purbani, Tangling, Powari etc. come here for their business purpose and for official work, mainly people can get their necessary goods from this place. This is a very nice place to visit from march to july.
